About the event
Join us for the MLK Business Leaders Luncheon, an inspiring gathering of business owners, executives, and community leaders committed to advancing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through economic empowerment and community impact. This complementary luncheon will highlight the importance of leadership, collaboration, and equity while fostering meaningful connections that strengthen our local business community and move the dream forward.
We will proudly honor the life and legacy of the late Jake Williams Jr. — a true champion for community, equity, and economic empowerment.
Jake was a Silver Lifetime Member of the NAACP and a Founding Board Member of the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce. His leadership helped shape opportunity for countless small businesses and strengthened the foundation of progress across the City of Cocoa and Brevard County. During the luncheon, the NAACP Central Brevard Branch will present a proclamation in his honor, and the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce will present a Service Award recognizing his enduring impact and unwavering commitment to service.
We are proud to celebrate a leader whose legacy continues to inspire the next generation of business and civic leaders. Registration is required due to limited seating.
Hosted by the NAACP Central Brevard Branch in partnership with the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce.
